Common questions

What is free and what costs money?

The first fifty stories, five full journeys, are free with no time limit. The Full Quest is a single one-time purchase that unlocks the other fifty stories. It is not a subscription, and it is shared with everyone in your Family Sharing group.

How do I buy the Full Quest?

Open the More tab, tap For Grown-Ups, and answer the grown-ups question. The Full Quest is the first item. Payment goes through your Apple ID, and Apple's normal receipt and refund rules apply.

My child tried to buy it and it says it is waiting for approval.

That is Apple's Ask to Buy. The family organizer gets a notification on their device. Once they approve it, the Full Quest unlocks automatically the next time the app opens. Nothing is charged until then.

I bought it on one device. How do I get it on another?

Sign in with the same Apple ID, or a member of the same Family Sharing group, then open More, For Grown-Ups, and tap Restore purchases. Progress does not sync between devices; only the purchase does.

We got a new phone. Where did our cards go?

Progress lives on the device and is included in your iCloud or computer backup. Restoring the new phone from that backup brings every player's cards back. If the new phone was set up fresh, the progress from the old one cannot be recovered. The purchase can always be restored.

How do I add or remove players?

The More tab lists every player. Tap a player to edit their name, avatar, or question level. Swipe left on a player to remove them. Each player has their own card album.

Can I start over?

Yes. More, For Grown-Ups, then Reset all progress. This removes every player and every won card on the device. Purchases are kept.

Read-aloud is not working.

Check that Read stories aloud is switched on in More. Narration plays even with the ringer switch on silent, but not if the volume is all the way down or headphones are connected elsewhere. If a story still stays quiet, force-quit the app and open it again.

Which Bible translations does the app use?

Full passages are available in the Berean Standard Bible and the King James Version. You can switch between them in More. The retellings at each reading level are written for the app and are not a translation.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase, and choose the item.
